This light therapy system is typically employed to promote wound healing and soft tissue repair. The base unit operates in continuous or pulsed modes ( 25%, 50%, or 75% ). In pulsed mode the output can be modulated at 1 Hz, 3 Hz, 12 Hz, 30 Hz, 100 Hz, 300 Hz, or 1 kHz. There is a programmable treatment timer ( 1 minute steps ). There are four optical attachments with the unit :
