spares and consumables.
At SKF we feel that routine servicing of physiotherapy and electrotherapy is
a very important concern, which is backed up by manufacturers recommendations.
In most cases the equipment manufacturer will specify that each instrument
should be serviced at least once a year, more frequently for mechanical equipment
that is used extensively. There are three major reasons for regular routine maintenance:
-
Safety
Is the equipment safe to use? Are you putting the safety of your patients at
risk?
-
Efficiency
Is the equipment working correctly? Are you sure that you are administering the
required treatment for your patient ?
-
Liability
Is your insurance valid? You may risk potential liability if you are using
equipment that is not tested and serviced regularly.
